Today is 17th of May. The national holiday of Norway, celebrating the making of our constitution  nearly 200 years ago. Today is the day when children sing, and eat as much ice cream as they can get. They play among each other, just having  a great time. But this day became in many ways a bit different. When suddenly a quite huge amount of snow started to fall upon us.
Icy wind made us feel like we were in November, and not in the southern part of Norway. Brrrr… Is really all I can say. I’ve been more or less outside since seven o’clock this morning, freezing my fingers off trying to play some music for people to hear.
Ironically enough, the sun is now  starting to reach the ground beneath the skies. Now, in the afternoon, when everyone is done with their celebrating.

  1. Norge? My best friend is Norwegian. (I’m American)

It’s great to see another blog using this template. Great shots.

  2. Thank you for dropping by, and for the compliment.
Just for the fun f it, do you know any more Norwegian words?
    – It’s really nice once in a while to meet a person who has some idea of where this little country is placed on the map.
    Enjoy your day!
