Aperture:f/5.6
Focal Length:35mm
ISO:100
Shutter:1/349 sec
Camera:PENTAX K10D

This photo is from my first actual macro-shoot ever, some weeks ago. I borrowed my father’s old lens and went outside, and into the garden. Finally I too have one of these shots.

But do you know what? – it does not feel that good.

  1. what an unreal photo – it looks like the wasp is on it’s own delicious magic carpet ride!
what doesn’t feel good about that!?!
i guess it depends on what you expect out of finally, having ‘one of those shots”
why do you create photos? or, is it taking a picture….

  2. Thank you for taking your time commenting, and making me answer to some of the things I do without thinking them through. I do truly appreciate it.
In this matter it was taking a picture, trying a lens. Something which gives a totally different state of mind, at least to me, than the actual “creating photos mode”.
One are the drifting “zen”-moments of life, and the other is just for the fun of it all.

  3. I love the title! I too found myself in the garden one day with my camera trying to get “that shot”…but then I laughed at myself and went back inside. I don’t really like flower photos anyway, so there! Love your site though…your not supposed to have more than one artistic talent you know (poetry and photos! leave some for the rest of us!)
    Cheers!
