We're Family, Right?

Within the next moment, their noses will touch. They’ll both feel the warmth of the other, and neither will know whether this was a good idea at all. Probably the little one will rush back, as if the touch of it’s friend was burning hot. Then he’ll wave his tail, telling he did not mean to be rough.

All this happened in too little time for anyone to notice, unless you knew. Unless you were there.
