No colours left
Greyness is all around
– Lament of winter

——————

I have not seen the sun for a week. Maybe more. Not a single ray of golden light, even though I’ve walked in both star and moonlight. Nothing, no colours, nothing. During those hours which should have been day-lit the world looks like a black and white photo with no contrast what so ever. Nothing is white, nor black. Just neutral, natural.

I long for sunny afternoons and funny shades. For sparkling light and vivid sights. And there’s yet an other week until the solstice. – And I always counted myself as a nocturnal animal? I suppose there’s a difference when you do have a choice, and for the time being I do have no such thing. All I’ve got is an other cold, winter night. In the middle Norway.

And in case you are wondering, the image found it’s way into my digital camera during the last days of october. You know, when there was still a thing outside called warm light…
